The Haunted Manor

Some houses have history. This one seems to have a story of its own.

Enter if you dare

I.

Behind the mirror

When this historic home was first purchased in 1983, an unusual discovery was made while renovating: a newspaper article had been pasted to the back of a mirror inside the house.

The article told the disturbing story of a little boy who had been murdered. There was no date on the article, and its origins remain a mystery — as do the lights and TVs that turn on and off, frequently, on their own.

Since then, guests have reported some unsettling experiences of their own.

The little boy

Several guests have described being awakened in the middle of the night by the ghostly image of a little boy, dressed in clothing reminiscent of the 1930s, saying:

Help me… help me…

III.

But the stories don’t stop at the main house

On the grounds sits a playhouse that has become one of the property’s most talked-about features. In the middle of the night, its monitoring system has reportedly activated with the warning:

The strange part? There was no one there.

Checking the camera footage only deepens the mystery. Unexplained orbs of light could be seen floating silently inside the playhouse, appearing and disappearing without explanation — adding yet another unanswered question to a place already filled with them.

IV.

Could it be him?

Maybe the little boy who has been seen standing beside guests’ beds at night, softly pleading, “Help me,” isn’t always just wandering through the house.

Perhaps, while everyone sleeps, he slips quietly into the playhouse — a place where, for a little while, he can simply be a child again.

Could those strange glowing orbs be him playing in the darkness?

Or perhaps he isn’t playing at all.

Perhaps he is still searching for someone to help him.
